I am a QFF Platinum although I am booked on an Air NZ return flight to Brisbane, I am aware that I can still earn points and status, however do I still gain access to either Qantas or Air NZ lounges in Auckland?
I wasn't aware that the Qantas/Air NZ codeshare partnership covered Trans-Tasman flights -- I thought it just covers domestic flights. If that's correct, not only will you not be able to use any lounge, but you won't earn points and status credits either.
If your flight is a NZ numbered flight, then unfortunately, you won't have access to any benefits as part of your status. Status benefits including lounge access and earning points and status credits only apply for Qantas codeshares (QF coded flights) on Air New Zealand operated domestic routes.
