So last October I booked 3 PE seats round trip Melb to LA for June using a combo of points and pay. My CC was charged immediately and then a week later the charge disappeared/ no points taken.... and hasn't returned. The flights, seat selection, meals are all in my Qantas App. We completed the APIS for 2 passengers, waiting on a new passport for the 3rd passenger. Could this be the reason why? In light of COVID 19 we want to cancel this flight. Can this be done without the charge being reinstated which might force us to take a voucher rather than the refund. Wondering if it can be cancelled seeing as we have effectively not paid for these flights, Keen to hear your thoughts... Thanks!

Hi,

Short answer - No.

I found an email from Qantas saying that our tickets will not be issued until we provide the passenger info for our daughter. So assuming we don't provide the info, tickets won't be issued and the flights will disappear from the app? Do you think I still need to contact Qantas to cancel the flight or just leave it?
