During the airline's suspension of regular flying, I had a $1,355 pre-Covid19 refund cancelled during Administration and at a time when the few domestic flights were of no tangible value.

Any suggestions as to who I should approach/contact to ask for those funds to be re-instated?

Have since learnt that 'Conditional Credit' has been issued with an August 15th, 2020 expiry date, and told to call back once Bain are formally owners after the creditors meeting. Conditional Credits get a new, separate TravelBank Account No., that's not visible online, hence record it safely and securely.

I had a travel bank credit expiring in May. Booked a return business in Feb for an April trip. With COVID cancelled and assumed it would be there. I just looked...gone. When I spoke to Virgin they said that the expiry date had lapsed on the original travel bank amount. Hence the credit has gone. I need to write to their service team.

I spoke to Virgin today, being in a similar boat. They advised that conditional credits will expire on 22 September. It remains to be seen if the new owners will extend the expiry date once they take formal control.
