Qantas first class lounge gets new Aurora Spa products

Qantas first class lounges now sport a new line of Aurora Spa products in washrooms and showers.

In use today at all Qantas First Lounges – in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland and Los Angeles – the ASPAR-branded skincare range brags to have been 'created exclusively for Qantas First'.

This includes a hand wash and hand and body cream plus a body cleanser, shampoo and conditioner – the later trio replacing the Kevin Murphy products previously used in the Qantas First shower suites.

Qantas says the products have been "developed with botanical ingredients to relax and hydrate skin before flying," with ingredients such as sandalwood and desert lime, as well as pure essential oils and 'botanically active ingredients'.

The full line includes:

  • Mandarin & Sandalwood Hand Wash with bergamot, desert lime and lotus to cleanse, soothe and condition the hands
  • Patchouli & Shea Hand & Body Cream with sandalwood, cedar and sweet almond, a deeply hydrating treatment for all skin types to moisturise, soothe and replenish dry or dehydrated skin
  • Sweet Orange & Patchouli Body Cleanser with desert lime, sandalwood and cedar, gently cleaning and refreshing the body and conditioning the skin
  • Sandalwood & Bergamot Revitalising Shampoo and Conditioner with nettle, clary sage and mandarin to protect and hydrate hair

The same bespoke products are expected to appear in the Qantas first class cabins later this year.

Qantas continues to offer the standard ASPAR product range in the bathrooms of the Qantas Domestic and International Business Lounges.

"Qantas continues to offer the standard ASPAR product range in the bathrooms of the Qantas Domestic and International Business Lounges."

I was in the Tokyo Qantas Lounge just yesterday (Flying QF) and the products in the lounge are jurlique

Maybe this is a one off but it was slightly disapointing

That being said it was an overall disapointing flight

Qantas First in Melbourne has stopped offering Kevin Murphy products in over a year. I suspect this new offering is available only to the Sydney First lounge.
