• I know space constraints aren’t their fault but I was in the AKL lounge recently and pax were being turned away because it was full so I hope they can redesign it well. I have the coffee there and then high tail it over to CX Flounge. I’d love to know how much that costs QF. 

  • Their J offering is getting worse and worse (as opposed to QF which seems to be getting better), the portions are child sized now, even the FA apologised this morning as she put the meagre breakfast tray down. I actually wouldn’t mind if something decent was offered in J like that toastie

  • But their lounges suck especially their flagship F in SIN. And those ridiculous flip seats in J??? Enjoy SQ 

  • PAX will fly it and even pay a premium because of the power of the QFF programme. Golden handcuffs. Sad but true. 

  • Agree. Spend base value to a company makes sense. VA do it now, as do many other airlines.  Look at all the people madly booking with the DSC promo now.

  • Perfect post. I flew QF J yesterday (admittedly I did use points to upgrade as I have an injury and wanted space, so I didn't fork out $700). As I looked at the sad ‘braised pork' on my tray, I mused, how far the mighty have fallen. No dessert or even a fresh salad and a redundant dessert spoon ...

    Emirates and NZ...my partner and I are flying Y, EK to NZ and we're QF Platinum and Gold. Does anyone know if we can use premium check-in and lounges in MEL and AKL because of our QF status?

    Hi Nick.  The term 'Business Class' is very generous from JQ.  The seats are fine for the day flight to SIN, but they are only marginally better than most Premium Economy seats and I don't think as good as QF J domestic. The food and wine is the same as up the back, it's just free and t...
