    The overnight flight unlocks great access to those daytime flights to europe and south asia, which isn't possible with the SYD curfew. Definitely inclined to use this option, even as someone living in Inner West Sydney.

    There is an afternoon flight from Sydney that will offer a very comfortable 3 hour layover?No different from what SQ. CX, TG and other asian carriers offer for their European flights from SYD.

    I was on this flight recently but my final destination was Milan.From memory, those going to barcelona stayed on the plane, although I'm not sure if they were made to disembark later and go through some sort of "fast-track" lane.

    It's a shame because Brazil is a rapidly growing economy. I believe Lufthansa operates 747-8s to Rio and sao Paulo but that's about it. I expect Emirates or LH to make a move with the A380s sometime soon.

    Yes peak travel to Europe means that SQ 227/228 is an A380 instead of 77W from 19 June to 20 July. Same goes for SQ 231/222 to sydney from June 18 to July 31.

    The difference between Qantas Club and Domestic Business Lounge?What's the difference between the Sydney T3 qantas club and domestic business lounges? This is my first time travelling in domestic business. I can see that club members are not admitted into the latter so I'm assuming its better?

    Chicago-ORD and LAX (especially for transiting into domestic flight) are definitely the worst. SFO is not bad.A 'good' american airport is yet to surface.
