Just received a call from SQ stating SQ221 that I am booked on in A380 Suites has been changed to a Boeing 777W. This is a temporary change of aircraft. Flight was booked specifically at 355 plus days out to get those seats and now have been Qatar'd!! 😂
Is there any recourse as it is a change of product?

Once a while ago I booked classic reward on Qantas website on JAL aircraft in business. Then JAL changed something and kick me back to economy. I called QF and said that it is unsuitable for me. They answer that they cannot do anything because of JAL. I said that I have purchased tickets at their website and therefore they responsible. They said that they cannot force JAL to give me business. Then I said that QF indeed can re-inject commercial seat into award one on their own aircraft. And guess what? They did it! Morale - call them and talk to them politely. I am sure that they can change your date of flight.
