CX111 departing Hong Kong on Monday 9 June 2014.
Would anyone be able to shed some light on why CX111 is not scheduled to run on Monday 9 June 2014. I have checked this on the timetable and when trying to book tickets. Was there some announcement that I may have missed? CX161 is also scheduled not to run on Wednesday 11 June 2014

maybe scheduled maintenance of an aircraft over that period and they chose to 'pull' those 2 flights which maybe are 'quiet days' for loads, thus minimilizing disruption to its operations/passengers... just a thought..not a fact

I suspect similar to why QF has cancelled some London flights over that period.

CX normally reduce flights on an Adhoc basis during May & June each year on the SYD route.
This is due to softer demand in these months.
In past years it has been CX161/162 that have been cancelled. This year it appears to be a mix of CX111/110 & CX161/162
