Has anyone noticed the dramatic rise in the price of virgin' s Flexible fares? June 2014 Cbr to Per return a little under $800. Looking in March or June 2015 over $1200 return. Do you think this is due to the cease fire in the capacity war?

And they're even poorer value now that they don't get a proper meal.

You should see what they call a "meal" that they give me with my flexi fares, probably the biggest area they are lagging way behind qantas, they really need to get it sorted.

So this extract from an Ausbt article from 2012, no longer applies?

"Virgin is also now serving a hot meal and drinks (including alcohol, from midday) plus free inflight entertainment for all passengers – yes, even if you're travelling on the cheapest economy ticket..."

I fly OOL-MEL and back mostly so not included in the triangle, at the price they charge for flexi tickets the accompanying catering is pitiful
