Through customs and immigration, collect bags.
Take escalators/lifts to upper/arrival levels. Turn LEFT... Walk past T3 to T2...
LAX is basically a horseshoe T1,T2,T3,TBIT,T4,T5,T6 with TBIT in the middle.

If you're ticketed on Westjet on your QF itinerary, your luggage can be checked through to your Westjet destination ex your Australian departure point (SYD/MEL/BNE). At LAX baggage claim, pick your luggage up from the QF flight and look for the Transfer point to put your luggage on the Westjet belt. Then do Customs/Immigration and exit.
If on seperate tickets, collect your luggage and keep your luggage trolley. As advised by moa999 (above) after Customs/Immigration and exit TBIT and turn left. Terminal 2 is approximately a conservative 7-8 minute walk, against the traffic. You will walk past Terminal 3 and arrive at Terminal 2.
Walking will be the most efficient way to move to Terminal 2. The roadway around the terminals is one-way only and arriving traffic comes in at Terminal 1 and exits at Terminal 8 - so the idea of catching a cab / shuttle / Uber etc would take longer than the walk, due to high traffic congestion. There is a free shuttle that picks up just to the left exit of TBIT, but it is gonna stop at every terminal on the circuit (ie: TBIT, 4 (AA), 5 (DL), 6 (AA & others), 7 & 8 (UA) before heading back around to 1 (WN) and then 2. Not recommended, if time is short.
The walk is all on a paved, level walkway, so will freshen you up.And don't forget, you'll need to clear security in Terminal 2 also. How much connecting time do you have?

The shuttle bus between terminals works well but as noted above mightn't be the best use of time.
Given you're inbound from Australia I'd recommend a walk as it gives you a chance to get some fresh air and stretch the legs.

I would walk it - it is not much of a walk and is good to stretch your legs after such a long flight

Yes absolutely doable, as long as things go right. I have had as little as 25mins from plane landing at TBIT to being in the lounge in T5. Also spent 2.5 hours alone waiting in theTBIT customs/imigration. Just depends on what other planes have arrived before you.

I have connected through onto that same flight on separate tickets also - made it to the gate with 30 minutes spare.

Shuttle bus service goes counterclockwise only, so from TBIT it's 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 1, 2, 3. So it is much better to walk to 2. if it is raining, go downstairs to the lowest level first, so as to have cover.
2hrs 5min is not a sure thing but most days should work. maybe 75% chance. TBIT usage is rising so immigration/customs times are highly variable.
