How much time does it take for a Qantas loyalty bonus to be offered and then credited to my FF account?

I am flying F on QF ticket on EK metal to LHR return at the end of next month. My account anniversary is the 31/3. I will be 10 SC's short of the 1200 to retain P status and am relying on my status bonus. I leave on 23/3, and the outbound flights ( + my balance of 300 ish SC's)  offer enough SC's to get a status bonus will I have enough time to be offered then awarded my loyalty bonus ( 50 SC's) to maintain my status?

I chose points recently (will retain platinum without the bonuses) and received them the day after I made my selection.

The offer itself came through in the week I reached 500SC

If P status is that important, you could just take the cheapest flight you can find and not sweat on it.

Spoke to QFF they said it should be fine and put a note on the file, we'll see!

Id be tempted to ring and ask if 10SC short will be okay for obtaining platinum status.

And then take the points.

My email came through about an hour after I got off the plane, sent it back with the SC button ticked and the 50 SC were in my account within an hour along along with my achieved Gold status on my activity statement.

Slightly off topic, but...  (((sorry, just noticed a similar query/thread for January)))

Just before my re-zero date - 31/3 - I was emailed about my loyalty bonus choice between status credits or FF points. I had just tipped over into platinum for the first (and probably only) time, so didn't need the SC's. I was about to elect for the points but noticed in the fine print that I had 90 days to make my selection.

I have held off selecting so far. I will probable choose the SC, but just wanted to check... Will the SC's be added as per the date I elect them (so into my new year) or will they be added to my last year's total and so add to my lifetime total, but be of no help to this years SC total?

Also, this is the first time I have been offered the choice. Up until now bonuses have just popped in as FF points into my on-going total. I don't ever recall getting the 'choice' email before. As I have accelerated very quickly from longtime bronze to platinum, I am thinking this choice is a perk that comes with gold status maybe. What is the drill?

I recently was in the same situation, however the 90 days lapsed and the option disappeared from the FF page to choose the loyalty bonus. No SCs or Points have been credited to my account over 3 months later. I have emailed Qantas FF and they have yet to respond.
