I was wondering how long most people are taking to have the double status credits (from the recent propmotion) awarded to their account? My wife and l took the same flight but had purchased seperate tickets (work paid for hers). She had her double status credits awarded in just over 7 days, yet i'm still waiting for mine. I know they said it may take 6 weeks to appear but still strange she has already recieved hers. I can't imagine level would come into it? She's Gold and i'm Silver (but this would get me to Gold just before my FF year finishes).
Just wanted to see if anyone else had had this issue at all and how long it took for the double status credits to appear
I'm assuming you mean QF promotion? I travelled with them early May on a domestic connection for an international journey on EK. The double status on the domestic leg came through 3 days later and the international one came a week later (i assumed the EK was also eligible for double status, but apparently only the AUS-NZ sector qualified for this), so i missed out big time!!!
When it worked my bonus SC's were credited 3 days after I flew. Having said that I did have to chase one set of SC's from this promotion, I waited the requisite 6 weeks before phoning the QFF service centre and enquiring and they were manually credited within 24 hours.
I agree that it's unlikely the difference in status would have resulted in your wife getting her bonus SC's before you (but I could be wrong). If you don't have 6 weeks to wait before you reach your new FF year I'd give them a call to see if you can speed up the proccess.
I've travelled on 9 Jun and the double SCs came on 13 Jun, when I travelled again on 12 Jun it arrived just 2 day later on 14 Jun. Both had both domestic & international sectors, so pretty quick really.

If you paid with a voucher then you won't automatically receive the credits if the voucher was issued before the promo started (as the system takes the date the voucher was created and not the date the flights were booked). You will need to wait the 6 weeks and chase them up. The has happened to me several times and it always takes several months and multiple requests before they finally credit the status credits.

Thanks for the feedback, will wait for the 6 weeks and then chase up again. Odd mines taken longer but i'm not the only one thankfully.
