Will I earn Qantas status credits on Fiji Airways flights?

I tried to google but couldn’t find definite answer.


Will I be earning Qantas status credits on LAX-NAN-SYD when booking via Fiji Airways website and flying on FJ ticket?


Looking at some business class fares. Qantas calculator showing 180 status credits - thought I confirm here first before buying.

Yes you will, and the Qantas Calculator is correct.


Make sure you book into an eligible business fare class (C, D, I, J, Z) for Fiji Airways to earn Qantas Points and status credits.

From the Partner Airline earning table, you can see Los Angeles to Nadi earns 140 SC under the standard mileage bands, while Nadi to Sydney earns 40 SC under the special Sydney/Fiji table.

One last question: the QF point calculator doesn’t show/allow the option for NAN-NRT. Does it mean this rout is not eligible for QF SCs?

Acronyms in the question have been replaced with 'real words': this helps all readers understand what's being asked and said. We ask users to avoid abbreviations like 'J', 'Y' and so on, because your average person doesn't know what those letters mean, nor should they need to on a mainstream travel website.

I can't confirm this for sure, but if it's an Fiji Airways flight number and operated flight, it should still earn Qantas status credits as long as you have an eligible fare.


Often the Qantas Points calculator isn't updated with new, 'obscure' routes from partner airlines for a while.
