Qantas Silver FF with anniversary date of Oct 31. Have 4 international flights next year to try for Gold Upgrade. First two are in Feb so no problem. Second two are in mid-late October. They will conclude before anniversary date roll over so just wondering, given that status/points can take up to 6 weeks to be credited, would they add those earnt in October but credited in November back to 2020 year and if they do would they then upgrade you to Gold retrospectively if over 700 in total even though my "new" tally for 20/21 would be 0 in November 2020?

Status Credits earned on QF flights usually credit within a day or two. It's SCs earned on other OW airlines that take longer to credit.
Any SCs earnt during the year go towards your status for that year, even if credited to your account some weeks after your anniversary date.

The Status Credits will credit to whatever year the scheduled departure date was in. Qantas are generally pretty good at working out any backdated changes that cross membership years.

When it comes to Q Status Credit accrual, our beloved airline is like the ATO...dead on time when your clock ticks over. Sat on 500 points the day before I flew on QF 09 to LHR on double SC and guess what happened that day.......goodbye accumulated goodies and now some months later ( plus 4 flights) am 10 SC short of 1400.......b.gger!
