I travelled first class on Air Alaska from Anchorage to San Francisco in May. I didn't get any points. I wrote to QFF to enquire about the points, they said to produce the evidence which I did. They said they would contact me but didnt. Several emails went unanswered. I wrote to Air Alaska and Qantas again and I am still waiting for a reply. I will have to ring Qantas on Friday. Is it that hard to get points from Oneworld partners?

Well probably note that while a QF partner, Alaskan Airlines is not a Oneworld airline.

I've had a similar experience recently with some AA flights. Not credited, missing points claims submitted, several emails, boarding passes and booking confirmations sent, etc etc.

In the end a call to the QFF platinum service number got one flight credited but I'm still missing another. Funny thing is my wife was on the same flights and the same bookings, hers went through fine, and I've done the same flights before with no issues. So yes, in my recent experience they do have issues here. Thankfully in my case the SC's involved are irrelevant as I've already accrued the number needed for renewal.

I think it has gotten much worse this year, I have had to chase every OW partner flight including QR, RJ and BA.

OK, here is a single data point experience.

I again used the on-line missing points claim process and was again denied the claim, this has happened every time I have used the on-line system.

I then emailed copies of the boarding passes as I always do and had the points and SC allocated.

I emailed back to ask why this keeps happening, particularly when my wife and daughter on the same ticket and flights were credited without problem.

Without getting an answer to why some pax got credited and I didn't, I was informed that the on-line system only checks your flights against economy travel, if you travel in First or Business it may well be rejected. YMMV.

Mmm...I'd say B&^%#$ to that. Sounds like a inexperienced person making loose statements about things they don't understand.

I had a similar experience with Finnair traveling in Jin May, no points were credited to my QF FF account. I used the "claim missing points" feature on the QF site, this was rejected, i then emailed QF FF centre (with all documents) they also rejected the claim, I then rang the QF Premium centre and after 3 calls all points and SCs were eventually credited. Persistence pays.

I'm currently still struggling to get points from my Alaska Airlines (First Class) flight SEA-LAX from May this year that had AS flight code. It was part of an overall Qantas purchased ticket (MEL<>SEA) First return trip - on the way there it had the QF shared flight code and I received only points for that leg.

I've done online chat and ring them up (1 hour wait on each) AND also attempted to fill out the claim missing points (which tells me it's 'already being processed') - no luck on any of this. Given such ridiculously long wait times to talk to anyone I'm contemplating just giving up on this in frustration. I've never received any notice that points claim has been 'rejected' - they just haven't been added to my account.

ps - am also yet to receive bonus points via Business Rewards for any of the above flights (including the Qantas ones) - same response (or lack thereof).
