Does anyone have a direct email address for contacting Cathay Pacific customer service (so matter can be escalated)? They don't have anything listed for Australia/Global on their website - only online 'feedback form' which they say may or may not be responded to (and appears to just go to externa...

Oh and just read HKExpress is 100% owned by Cathay Pacific - so basically CP is cause of all of these cancellations & they are refusing to waive the fees. Pretty poor effort - don't think we'll trust them again with our travel. Meanwhile - still unable to raise HKE via live chat and confirm i...

At risk of having something thrown at me - I can see why it's considered pretty bad form to do this. There's also a huge difference between a shorter 6-8hr flight (SE Asia) vs all the way to Europe/New York ~18-20hrs . You are pretty much guaranteed there will be several melt downs on those longe...

ps - the Qantas website (travel/visa advice) points you at a site called VisaLink (which I think is owned by Qantas given logo in header).. Their quoted fees (for pre approval letter) are insane - ~$200 for combined "Consular + Visalink fees" and that's 7 day service. The 'Same Day' service costs...
