Has the Virgin snake - that prized piece of nylon so loved by business class pax - been banished?
I’ve flown three D class sectors in the last week and the snake was not put up between business and economy cabins on any of them. The FAs didn’t even go near the front cupboard where the snake was once wrangled.
It lead to Y class pax streaming up front to queue for the luxury D class lav!
It’s enough to make the fortunate eight up the front as mad as a cut snake! Not to mention making them feel like they’re in QF business class, where economy pax are a common sight.
Has anyone else noticed the snake has gone missing on VA. If it has been ditched, is that a good thing?
Despite VA seats in Business being less comfortable I have chosen them over QF for several years because I believe Business should not include a procession of Economy pax going to the loo. I will return to QF in a heartbeat if VA abandon the snake. Fangs for the memories.

Flew today on VH-IJQ a former Silk Air 737. The plane had Virgin seats installed but the divider between Rows 2 & 3 was not installed. As a result there was no snake as the divider that the snakes attaches to is not there.
The crew however did make an announcement that the front toilet is only for business and I don’t t know if that did the trick but no economy pax entered the Business cabin.
