Before the rebanding I was Spire Elite for several years and after failing to requalify, it was a soft landing down to platinum. I'm not too sure if the same rules apply after the shake-up.

Korean will generally fly with Korean Air regardless of price as it's more comfortable for them especially due to language and cultural barriers. I was in the same boat the a few weeks ago. Asked staff and the unofficial answer I got was to assume cash over platinum sadly. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

Unfortunately in Australia it's not up to the airline or airports, mandates come from federal government.

Depends on how many other flights are arriving around the same time. Has taken me an additional 90 minutes recently as a lot of people didn't have the correct paperwork and proof of vaccination. Best to air for the front of the plane if you can.
