Google "Flights xxx to xxx" feature gone?

Previously you could search Google: Flights Melbourne to Auckland or other cities and the results would show airlines, flight numbers and weekly schedules. I have always found this a really handy feature for planning and other purposes. I am pretty sure this was included in a little travel hacks article on here as well.

However now, it just shows a search function to display pricing so you can buy tickets through Google, and only displays single day information instead of full week schedules.

Does anybody know if the old feature can still be used and where it can be found?

It's been annoying me, but still seems to work if you place timetable after the search query:

E.g "flights MEL to LAX timetable"

Depends what you're searching - whether or not Google has launched their flight search engine.

Try 'flight time dep arr'. E.g. 'flight time mel sin'

'flights mel sin' will return airfares but 'flights sin mel' will still give you flight number, times, etc. (for now).

Hi everyone -

I know - very annoying when that changed. However, I've found you can simply type "schedule MEL LAX" and it works just fine.

Cheers!

For me the problem only persists when searching flights from Australian airports. Google is probably showing those options based upon location data from your IP. For example "SYD to SIN" will return the price list but "SIN to SYD" still displays the old style schedule.

Other than that, everyone else said it - simply adding the word "schedule" does the trick. Just my two cents.

It's not just location data - as it happens to me on plenty of international flights. Signing out of my google account does seem to work though, so it is something being tracked that initiates it.

Don't you hate it when they do that, My flighttrack app has been discontinued, bought out by someone who thought they could divert the users to their booking service. I used to store my and other family and friend flight details in flighttrack and be advised when the flights were delayed, took off etc.  I haven't found a decent replacement.

Adding "schedule" instead of timetable also works.

Download CheckMyTrip App. It's by Amadeus - the reservation system used by most airlines. Even if the airline does not use Amadeus, it can still read your reservation reference or scans your itinerary through an auto email service. It then adds all your flight info, check in options, seat maps etc to one app allowing you to view your upcoming flights details. Came across this only last week. Handy for me as I have multiple flights coming up across range of airlines able to viewed all at once.
