Flying withing Australia, I'm almost at the point where I'd pay specifically to not access a lounge. Qantas Clubs, Qantas Regional Lounges and the Virgin Lounges are just always packed and fairly unpleasant. Qantas Business lounges are still largely pretty decent at least.

I've always been a firm believer that business class only works as a complete package - if the goal is to get you to your destination well-rested and with minimal interruptions.Sometimes a lounge is the most important part - a place to eat and fill up so you can just conk out on the flight. 

Comfort food always does well, and it should be an option. I would be very happy if there was a good burger served in the air on in the lounge, though I've yet to have one.
