I'm travelling back to Adelaide from a cruise departing Brisbane.
Unfortunately my family in their infinite wisdom have booked a Jetstar flight for the return back to Adelaide.
I am a Platinum One FF so my question is am I able to use the kerbside check in with bags to check in for this flight at BNE or will I need to use the Jetstar counter? There are 3 of us on two separate bookings so I was hoping to link two bookings together and all use the kerbside checkin and the lounge. (I have heaps of "invitations" to exceed my 2 guest limit for the lounge)
Do not get confused - QF and JQ are two different airlines. You have status with QF. JQ generally does not recognised status on their flights. I have been on Jetstar as a QF Platinum and they did not bother distinguishing me from a bar of soap.

Sadly you will not be able to. Would be nice if they enable it. Even getting Jetstar flights points and status credits takes forever. 3 weeks and no sign of them. Lodged missing points request 10 days ago, still waiting. Called Qantas Frequent flyer and was told they are having problems with crediting Jetstar flights and other partner airline flights
