Required LOGIN For Virgin Articles?

There have been 2 or 3 Virgin articles logged in the Community section over the last few days.

On each of them I am prompted to LOGIN just to read the posts. This is not happening with other posts.

Is this a 'trial' policy or is it some quirk of nature that has been overlooked? I can understand having to LOG IN to create or answer a post, but a requirement to LOG IN just to read an article seems a bit disingenuous.

Hi Kimshep, thanks for flagging this. We haven't changed anything on our end and I also can't replicate your issue. Can you please share some links where this is happening and we'll investigate it.

Hi Sid,

I've been able to replicate the issue on the link Ja90ck posted, getting: "Sorry, this forum is for verified users only. Please Login or Register to continue"

Hi Sid,

In addition to the post mentioned by @ja90ck (correct), I have also experienced the issue on the following additional posts:

as well as

https://www.executivetraveller.com/community/view/8915/unavailability-of-virgin-reward-seats

The problem presents members who do not sign in with the option to either LOGIN or SIGN UP.

Note: the problem occurs with both Google Chrome browser (which I detest) or Mozilla Firefox - both are current updated versions. Since there is no support for Internet Explorer 11 (which does not allow you to even login to ET) the same problem appears anyway.

I am grateful for you 're-locating' this post of mine. I tried to check it a few hours after it was posted for a response but received a message saying that the post "had been deleted or did not exist".

I can now confirm that each of the locked posts are now individually accessible without logging in.
