Singapore Airlines will bring its latest Airbus A350 to Perth in April as part of celebrations for the airline's 50th anniversary of flights to Australia.
The daily flights SQ213 and SQ226 – which usually run on a Boeing 777-200 – will feature the advanced A350 on Wednesday April 5th, 2017.

April 2017 marks 50 years since the Singaporean flag carrier began flights to both Perth and Sydney, the airline says, so there's certain to be plenty of festivities at the airport and online.
The Star Alliance member will chalk up another milestone in October 2017 with 10 years of flying the Airbus A380 – which may prove perfect timing for a reveal of SQ's all-new first class suites and business class suites, which will appear on a new raft of superjumbo orders due later this year.
The airline has revealed few details of its forthcoming luxe cribs, except that to confirm that there will be fewer suites than on today's A380s (although the private suites are expected to have a larger footprint) and there won't be an inflight shower.

David, your article seems to say that the A350 will only fly to Perth on April 5th - am I reading that correctly? It would be a shame if that was so.

That's exactly what it says, this is a one-day only treat to mark the airline's 50th anniversary of flights to Australia (specifically Perth and Sydney).
