AA business seating to NRT?

Can anyone advise on what expect on AA's business class seating on their NRT-USA routes on their 777s. Again there seem to be some quite attractive fares ex-NRT, but I guess maybe the catch is getting the older 777 seats(?)

Yes it is indeed the old angled flat bed. While it may not be 180 degrees flat it is nevertheless comfortable. Just make sure you pack a pair of cotton pyjamas to prevent slipping. It is also a 2 - 3 - 2 configuration, so make sure you select your seat in advance.

Also worth noting that AA operates on a Front Even Back Odd (FEBO) basis for main (1st) meal service i.e. Pax sitting in the front rows have first picks for the main course on even flight numbers - vice versa.

I believe the new AA 777-300ER (77W) only operates on the following sectors:

JFK/LHR, LAX/LHR, DFW/LHAR, DFW/GRU (only 1 flight a day for these sectors)
