Is there going to be an article on the recent Skytrax awards?

Is there going to be an article on the recent Skytrax awards? Would be interesting to hear the report on Emirates' first place and Qantas moving back into the top 10.

No there won't be. It's for a few reasons: one is that the awards are somewhat questionable (not 'controversial' which is something else and not always a bad thing); another is that they were announced while I was attending the EVA/Star event in Taipei and thus fully occupied with that (mainly at the event and doing associated interviews for stories that will run next week); a third reason is that the awards are no longer 'news, being now two days old and having been covered by everyone else (including mainstream media). So I'm skipping an editorial article on them in order to focus on other work. And it's not as if we need to "report on Emirates' first place and Qantas moving back into the top 10", that's all out there for anybody to read. Of course, people can talk about the awards and go back-and-forth on the decisions in these comments.

No problem, most of those reasons did go through my head when looking. I just noticed it on the QF website and went here to have a look.
