Seems Qantas now has a new T&C, no photos or videos of crew or other pax without permission. Check out the Conduct During Flight section. Apparently not applicable on Jetstar, yet. There goes your vid of misbehaving fellow travellers on QF though. Nothing said about crew taking photos/vids of pax. Looks like the right to privacy there is a one-way street.

They can't handle the truth of their deplorable service being posted.
Nothing in the changes to the Qantas terms and conditions prohibits photography of the inflight product, including catering, as long as no staff or other passenger is included in the picture.
Surely a right to privacy is a reasonable ask. I was recently on a flight to LAX in QF First and a high profile celeb was sitting behind me. All through the flight a couple of people kept coming down the front stairs and taking sneaky photos through the curtain, including when the person was fast asleep. Regardless of whether or not somebody is a public figure, taking photos of somebody whilst they sleep is downright creepy, and the cabin crew did the right thing and quietly had a word to the photographers concerned, and politely suggested they stay within the cabin they were booked in. The celeb in question actually apologised to myself and another nearby passenger at the end of the flight for the invasion of our privacy as we were likely in the photos also, and said that unfortunately some people value a social media post above any sense of decency and respect.....
There is a law about consent before posting photos on line. Qantas is merely protecting itself (as it having deeper pockets) for being sued for allowing pictures to be posted. Having it in terms and conditions is a reasonable defence.

A good airline would be pleased to have their inflight product and service photographed and shared online. Seems this isn't the case with Qantas.
