It depends on the version of aircraft, whether or not it is set up as domestic or international configuration. We went to Perth last month with Skybed, returned without.

Not necessarily Oliver, our flight SYD-PER was 8.10am and we did have skybed, PER-SYD at 12.20pm did not.

The 6am out of Sydney (I think its QF565) is usually a Skybed. If you log into your QFF profile and 'Choose your seat' (which you can change) and cross reference that with a seat map site (www.seatguru.com) you can usually tell. Handy hint i have picke up is that if its an A330-200 and the last row of the first economy cabin is row 35 it will have Skybed

Thanks for the tip Stuart.  I normally fly BNE-PER on QF but the old/revamped 767-300 business seats are not the most spacious.  I was wondering whether to go via SYD if it meant I could relax and get a snooze in a Skybed.  But if I can be assured I'd get a Skybed it's definately not worth the extra flight time.  The Virgin business seats have peaked my interest but due to QFF membership handcuffs I haven't had the courage to switch.
