Difference between AirBus A333 and A332?

Difference between AirBus A333 and A332?

I am flying Oman air Bangkok to Milan Business Class and noticed that the first leg is Bangkok to Muscat,Oman in an A333 Aircraft and then the second leg is Muscat to Milan in the A332.

I am assured the Business Class Seat/Cabin Experience is the same for both planes, but I am curious to know what the difference is between the two planes or why they'd fly two different kinds,if anyone knows

The A330-300 is the original model; the A330-200 is a shortened but longer-range variant.

According to seatguru, the -300 also has 6 first class seats (The -200 has none), and 8 more economy seats. (Both have 20 business seats)

The A332 seats 240-380 seats,the typical layout is 253 seats.
The A333 seats 270-440 seats,the typical layout is 295 seats.
