As i have to extend my current trip to Australia,i will use the rt/tk back to LA at later date.That said i do have to be in HNL early Nov to attend a wedding,and are looking at either purchasing a business ticket or using points to upgrade.I am looking at 3 options in no order.Do QF as i have plenty of points to burn,but do not want to fly on the old 767 that was still operating as late as last week according to a friend.Fly first on Hawaiian from BNE or SYD on a purchased ticket.Or do Air NZ from BNE or SYD via AKL to HNL.My recent searches show NZ with the lower j fare.I would like to here from anyone who has traveled in Hawaiian first and or Air NZ business on the AKL/HNL in flight experience.
