AUSBT Survey

Is the AUSBT survey an attempt by BA to test the waters for launching Executive Club in Australia?

It's just an inkling I have from the nature of the survey questions and the sponsor for the prize.

That's a very interesting observation.

Very curious thought. I'd think Executive Club rollout in Australia (if it went ahead) would actually be part of a wider, more active BA strategy to penetrate the Australian business travel market.

In light of a future weakening of commercial travel between EU and UK, there can be no doubt BA is looking at all areas of their operation to explore best ways to stabilize their business. Their stock price tanked after Brexit.

Ramping up operations between other Commonwealth nations would be one of many options on the table.

Not at all - BA has no input to the questions, the airline just generously offered two tickest as prizes (in fact, many of the questions are the same as our 2015 survey, including those regarding membership of frequent flyer programs).

Wishful thinking on my part then!
