Thanks chrisjrn. If the AS-marketed flight is operated by American Airlines, would I then have the flexibility of choosing which partnership to benefit from? since AA is a Oneworld member and status credit is awarded to Qantas FF members.

In 2011, I flew on AS metal from SFO to SEA, however under an AA code share and received QF points and status credits.
