Interested to hear other people's thoughts on this? With the recent Qantas Business International Lounge expansion in Brisbane, I'm almost sort of surprised that QF didn't use this opportunity to create a 'Platinum/First' lounge of sorts for the Platinum/CL/Plat 1 pax. Probably an issue with capacity/floor space, but i'm sure a Platinum Lounge would be welcomed, and help to distinguish the two 'levels' in which it appears from the pictures released today that there's a separate service desk anyway. Thoughts?
Qantas don’t have a First lounge anywhere where they don’t offer an F service, and apart from Auckland they don’t offer “premium” lounges for top tier frequent flyers, and this will soon disappear at Auckland with the renovation anyway, so I’m not surprised. They’d be creating a new class of lounge if they did as you suggest.
