6am Monday morning the last thing you need when arriving or departing from/to overseas is giant queues. Unfortunately this is what travellers had to endure this morning as the SmartGate system crashed in the majority of Australian International airports. It would have been mayhem. Good thing ABF didn't get rid of all its frontline staff who could manually process the passports.
