Can I get assistance with the correct terminology to use for a claim.
I got downgraded from business to premium economy, because my arrival flight was late and I missed my connection. It was with LATAM but QANTAS coded and I brought the ticket through QANTAS.
I have been speaking to the QANTAS frequent flyer Centre and I thought they understood but tonight they rejected the claim, saying I wasn't in my original flight.
So I'm trying to get points and more importantly status credits for this downgrade.

I believe you need to request the 'ORC' (Original Routing Credit) in order to obtain the correct points and status credits for the Qantas fare that you originally purchased.
