Ibis Styles East Perth hotel set to open next year

Visitors to the nation's mining capital with have a second Ibis Styles hotel from mid-2015, with Accor set to open the Ibis Styles East Perth hotel.

Currently under development by the Rehawk Property Group, Ibis Styles East Perth is the city’s first new-build economy hotel development in over ten years.

At 15 storeys and boasting 228 guest rooms, the hotel is expected to open to guests in July 2015.

Accor’s Chief Operating Officer, Simon McGrath, said “The economy (hotel) sector is rapidly changing in Australia… Ibis Styles East Perth will respond to the growing demand for quality product at a genuine economy price”.

“The Ibis Styles brand is known around the world and is present in Australia’s key Asian markets such as China, Indonesia and Malaysia as well as Europe,” he added.

Kitted out with a restaurant and bar, a meeting room, business corner and gymnasium, the hotel is suited to leisure guests and cost-conscious business travellers alike.

The development of Ibis Styles East Perth follows the announced Ibis Styles The Entrance.

Another new-build hotel and located on the NSW Central coast, it’s also set for a 2015 opening.
