Have you been stockpiling reward points on your credit card, in anticipation of the next Velocity Points transfer promotion?

Either way, the moment you’ve been waiting for has arrived: for a limited time, you can get up to 20% bonus Velocity Points when you transfer at least 2,000 American Express Membership Rewards to Velocity.

This promotion runs until 28 February 2025, and there’s a minimum transfer amount of 2,000 points.

2 Amex Membership Rewards usually equate to 1 Velocity Point – so under this promo, if you happen to have 50,000 Amex Membership Rewards in your account, they’ll turn into 30,000 Velocity Points instead of the usual 25,000.

Transfers are normally immediate, but you should allow up to one business day for those points to land in your account.
