Hi All silly question. Made a booking using QF points on CX J class. ISsue I have is that the award flights for HK to SYD are all full. Hence I booked HK to Adelaide on cx. Just wondering if anyone has had an expereince where (if seats were available) that they would let me on the direct HK to SYD flight. Cheers
You may, but you should have just called them and enquired, as they may have been able to help you befroe your made the booking. Even so, call them anyway, as they may be able to sort something out for you :)
Call QF FF, they can probably accommodate you if there is a seat. If you are a QFF Platinum they normally will open an award seat, even if it does not show in the award inventory online. Hence Daniel mentioned it is always best to call the QFF Service Centre when wanting to book award flights. Good luck, hope they can switch your flight!
Hi Tezza - this may now be out of date, but can you advise me how well you went with QF sorting out your issue? We wish to do something very like you were intending back then.
