Looking to take the family to Halifax NS next April/May for 2 weeks with stop offs on the way home in NY and LA (both for a week). Am FF with both VA (plat) and Q (bog std bronze) and was wondering am I better off using either of them or flying with someone else? Was leaning towards VA/partners but not sure. Does any airline stand out from the pack?

Probably looking at cattle class at the moment. But an upgrade to PE or Business if I have enough points could be possible depending on airline.
