TRB, the Premium Terminal may remain off the books for oneworld Emeralds travelling QR economy as they also operate a lounge in the main terminal at DOH. This is similar to Lufthansa's FCT at Frankfurt which is only accessible to first class guests, in addition to the Senator's Lounge in the main terminal for *G members.
This has to be the beginning of the end of the alliance structure. Too many conflicting interests, partner airlines relationships (eg QF/EK and VA and the rest etc) will prove to be the future. Just look at the advertising for BA/AA/IB/Finnair that's been floating around.
example - I won't fly qatar based on the earn rate but willl be happy to fly emirates with a QF code to earn better returns
Weird they do not allow OW FF pas to their flagship lounge. I understand that the Premium Terminal is out of bounds as this is similar to the LH FCT (as mentioned by Peter). Is the QR lounge at LHR available to high status Qr Privilige Club members?
So on the QR website it says that the LHR Premium lounge is only available for F and C class passengers, not even their own top FF (unlike LH where Honor Circle members are allowed access to the LH FCT). At least QR is consistent.
Another question I have is wether if you are a OW Emerald travelling in C you would get access to the F class facilities at the Doha remium Terminal. Would be interesting to know this.

Qatar Airways Premium Lounge
Location details: Terminal 4, opposite gate 6
Opening hours: Daily: 05:00-20:30 (Nov-Mar)
Notes: This lounge is only available to oneworld customers traveling in First and Business Class cabins (!!!!!)

They're already restricting access to their Premium terminal at DOH to First and Business pax only. Go on add salt to an open wound...

Does look impressive from the Qatar website for a non-home lounge....
Obviously trying to pass it off as like their separate terminal in Doha (which is also off limits to oneworld elites in Y)
