Looking at flying to the US with Singapore Airlines. All routes stop along the way but are sold as 1 flight (e.g. SIN - HGK - SFO / SIN - FRA - JFK). Does anyone know if it is possible to add in a stopover in one of these cities and pick up the 2nd leg of the flight 1 or 2 days later?

Ask the agent/airline who sold you the ticket if its possible to make stopovers with this booking. If you're flying in Business or First it should not be a problem. But there will be some additional taxes I'd imagine...

You can start an online booking and it will give you a summary of the fare rules. For their cheapest Sweet Deals fare it says: BETWEEN SIN AND THE UNITED STATES FOR FARES WITH FOOTNOTE 8E NOTE - GENERAL RULE DOES NOT APPLY IF INFANT UNDER 02 WITHOUT A SEAT. 2 STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING UNIT - 1 IN EACH DIRECTION. NO STOPOVER OCCURS IF PASSENGER TAKES NEXT AVAILABLE FLIGHT WITHIN 2 HOURS. NOTE - STOPOVER UTILISED THE PERMITTED TRANSFERS. 2 STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING UNIT - 1 IN EACH DIRECTION AT SGD 200.00 EACH. CHILD DISCOUNTS APPLY. NO STOPOVER OCCURS IF PASSENGER TAKES NEXT AVAILABLE FLIGHT WITHIN 2 HOURS. NOTE - STOPOVER UTILISED THE PERMITTED TRANSFERS. Hope this helps.
