Is Thai going to fly their A380s to Sydney? Because David posted an article in September last year about their A380s coming to Sydney.

info.flightmapper.net says it's going to be a 747 (both TG 471/2 and 475/6) , at least until September 2014.

That's the trouble with airlines, they officially announce things and then don't necessarily officially un-announce them when their plans change.
If I recall correctly, from reading up on it elsewhere, they took delivery of the A380 that was going to enable them to start the SYD service, but decided to put it onto the LHR service instead. I don't think they have any further A380s in the pipeline, so it seems that SYD is on hold indefinitely, at least until their business situation changes.
