Will Virgin Australia allow me to bring a guest into the Business Lounge if my guest is travelling economy?

I think it depends on your Velocity status, NM. If you're just flying business class without any special status then I think you can't giuest anybody in. If you have Platinum or Gold I think you can guest in one extra person, doesn't matter what class they are travelling in. I haven't guested anybody myself but am going off Qantas, which when I used to fly would allow guests at Platinum and Gold levels.

Al, does the same apply for silver velocity lounge pass invitations? Can you take a guest in?

I believe that invitations are for the holder only, no guesting allowed.

Thanks for your help. I have never had trouble with Qantas before regardless of status. This will be my first time on Virgin!
