Sydney to Los Angeles: Delta or Virgin Australia in business class?

SYD - LAX. Out of DL and VA who has the better Business Class. I am flying out on the 17th and have been booked on a DL Jet but can change to VA. Which is better?

VA would be the lesser of 2 evils.

VA is not that bad surely! 

I flew SYD-LAX on VA last week, wonderful service, great food. they make the bed for you and overall it was excellent including the PJ's. I'm flying DL in 6 days from LAX-SYD, i can give you an update then.

VA is the go to LA, I do that leg once a month.

Definately VA. Service is fantastic and the food is great. Depends what configuration you prefer though as not everyone likes VA's 2-3-2

I find the DL Herringbone to give a better sleep and more privacy than the traditional lie flats on VA.  Personal preference I assume.  Service is hit or miss with DL but usually doesn't matter as much as its all about sleep on that route.
