I am pretty regular VA user (happily so).  So far, there is no "multi city" option and that means one or two extra credit card charges.  Bit sad but in the overall scheme of things no biog deal.  Real issue is if you are trying to put together and itinerary, you need to have several booking pages open at once.

You can no longer book multi-city trips on their website following their transition from Navitaire to Sabre. Hopefully they'll fix this soon, but I'm not holding my breath.

However, you can book these multi-city trips through an online travel agent (such as Expedia or Webjet), or by calling the Virgin Australia call centre.

I booked a multi city trip a few months ago. I called the Guest Contact Centre and they waived the GCC fee because it was for something I couldn't do online. And I only had to pay one credit card fee.
