Been a lurker for a while and have thoroughly enjoyed this website. I do have a question for the experts here. I have a redemption ticket with MH in J to Europe. I have no status with MH but am QFF Platinum. With the QF status, will I be to get into the both the QF and MH First Class lounges? I know that QF platinum gets me into QF first class lounge but the ticket has MH FF on it. Does it matter?

Yes you will be able too. As your a Emerald teir Frequent Flyer you have access to the MH First Class Lounge. Show the lounge staff your Platinum QFF Card and you will be let in.

Given it's a redemption ticket with no mileage accrual consequences, call MH and get them to change the FF number on the booking to your QF number. That way your Emerald status will be recorded on your boarding passes, which would avoid any dramas when accessing the First class lounges in SYD, KUL and other lounges in Europe.
