Any flown on Air NZ economy lately, how was the flight and service?
Flying from Mel - Auckland then Auckand to Vancouver.

Fine.
Is it on the same plane ? Because you get different service levels on the international flights as opposed to the trans-tasman only ones I believe.
I have only done Syd-WLG which is the trans-tasman.

I've done both Trans-Tasman flight (late last year) and Long Haul flights to the US (A Year Ago) and found the service to be fine.
The Trans Tasman crew are good depending on the base. The Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown staff always seem a little more switched on compared to Auckland crews.
One Trans-Tasman flight in Business I was left with a glass whilst landing in my hand because it had not been collected earlier.
That being said a long haul flight in Economy from LA to Auckland was great not only did I have the Skycouch (Staff in the Lounge sorted that out) I also got some additional food after the dinner service which did not seem to be on any of the Economy menus.
