Is the 'Points + Pay' option only available on Qantas and Virgin tickets? That is, could I use Velocity points to pay for some of an SQ or DL reward ticket? Or do you have to have all VA or QF codes on your ticket to be able to use the 'Points + Pay' option?

No I regularly burn on SQ using this option it is actually the only way, the wording is a little misleading. Once you book you can then just move a bar and choose how many points v cash you want to pay. Once dates are set the options are shown with both the SQ coded flights and the appropriate same VA codeshared flights with a VA flight number separately.

Thanks mate. So do you know if it's the same for all of VA's partners (AB, HA, VS, NZ, SA, DL, EY, SQ and VX)?

So does that mean I could, for example, get a Delta Airlines ticekt with DL codes between JFK and MIA, with half VA points and half cash?

Thanks for the help AusBT Universe :)

Found out QF rules say it's got to be their codes and/or their metal.
Found out VA rules say it applies to any of their partners on any codes.
