Can any one tell me when SIA will be flying Y+ (PE) to Melbourne permanently. I see that they are flying for a limited time to MEL.

Singapore Airlines has a map on their dedicated Y+ website for the routes that currently have Y+ fitted aircraft on them. No mention of Melbourne. When they first introduced it, there was mention of not having Y+ on all aircraft. So I reckon Melbourne will only get it depending on aircraft rotation.

It would be great if Singapore Airlines were to offer a PE cabin on more of their Australian flights. Particularly for those folks travelling long-haul to Australia from Europe, after doing the 13-hour leg from Europe to Singapore in PE, switching across to regular Y for the final 8 hours to Australia is not that appealing.
