I'm trying to book return flights to Berlin next year from Canberra.
I don't really care if it goes through SYD/MEL/BRIS as long as I can get the Virgin operated flight from Abu Dhabi so I can upgrade that final leg home.
Going through the Air Berlin, Virgin & Etihad sites I can't select the Virgin operated flight even through the timetable shows it leaving 5 minutes before the Etihad operated flight. Is there any way I can get around this on a single booking?

Use a good travel agent Erin.It will save you a lot of time and trouble going from one web site to another.

They haven't operated the service for some 20 odd weeks? I don't think they'll put it back on until refurb is complete...

Call Virgin and ask the question. They can book legs that are unavailable online
