I'm taking AA83 from T4, but since this flight is a codeshare flight with QF, I was wondering if I could go check in at the TBIT Qantas check in desk because I've priority pass and could access the KAL Skyteam lounge in TBIT so I don't have to walk 2 times to terminal 4. Thank you!

No. You always check in with the operating carrier. No exceptions.

Thats my impression also , always checking in with the operating carrier
Re the KAL lounge , its ok as such but nothing out of the ordinary
The staff are good though.
